Respondents Prayer :- This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus, praying to direct the 1st respondent herein to consider the allotment of the petitioner in BDS Course under MOP-UP Vacancy under Government Quota in the 3rd respondent college viz., Sri Venkateshwara Dental College, for the academic year 2019-2020. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. Heard Mr.K.Govi Ganesan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.V.Ramalingam, learned Additional Government Pleader (Puducherry), who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. The Writ Petitioner herein seeks indulges of this Court to consider the petitioner for vacancy in the Government Quota, BDS Course, run by Sri Venkateshwara Dental College.
4. The petitioner herein, during the CENTAC counselling was allotted seat under the Management Quota. Now having come to know that there are some vacancies to the Government Quota, the present request is made. In the counter filed by the Government of Puducherry, they have taken two objections. Firstly, the petitioner being a Non-native, he is not entitled under Government Quota; Secondly, the Mop-Up counselling was also over and the date fixed for admission into the Dental College already over.
5. In view of this two prime objections, this Court is of the opinion that this petition is not maintainable and the petitioner is not entitled for the Government Quota being a the Non-native.
