2. It is the case of the writ petitioner that her mother was appointed on 04.10.2007 in the second respondent office and she died in harness on 22.04.2011. The petitioner submitted a representation to the first respondent on 10.09.2020 seeking compassionate appointment. In the meanwhile, the seventh respondent has given a reply on 06.05.2022 stating that the petitioner has not submitted application within a period of three years from the date of death of her mother. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that at the time of his mother's death, the petitioner was minor, hence, the petitioner's representations may by considered by the respondents. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

4. Considering the limited relief as sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to direct the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 10.09.2020 and 09.10.2020 and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
