Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records on the file of the second respondent in Letter f/vz;/cbgh-,&g/-nk/Cug;ghf;fk;- m/vz;/93-19. ehs; 31/07/2019 and quash the same and further direct the respondents to restore the electricity service connection of the petitioner in Service Connection Service Connection No.7030254 in No.3/640, Karpana Vinayagar Koil Street, Ambedkar Nagar, Mannivakkam Extn., Chennai - 600 048.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records on the file of the second respondent in Letter f/vz;/cbgh-,&g/-nk/Cug;ghf;fk;- m/vz;/93-19. ehs; 31/07/2019 and quash the same and further direct the respondents to restore the electricity

service connection of the petitioner in Service Connection Service Connection No.7030254 in No.3/640, Karpana Vinayagar Koil Street, Ambedkar Nagar, Mannivakkam Extn., Chennai - 600 048.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that that without going into the merits of the case, this Court may permit the petitioner to make fresh application seeking electricity service connection annexing title deed and other relevant documents (if necessary the petitioner will produce no objection certificate from the local Authorities) and issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's application and to pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time frame.

3.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, permits the petitioner to make fresh application seeking electricity service connection annexing title deed and other relevant documents, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if any such application is made by the petitioner, the respondents shall consider the same, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of such application. 4.This writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
