ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. In view of the order that this Court proposes to pass in this writ petition, notice to respondents 4 to 7 is dispensed with.
2. The relief sought in this writ petition is to direct 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's Appeal dated 09.09.2024, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner preferred an Appeal dated 09.09.2024 before 1st respondent, seeking to cancel the Patta issued in favour of respondents 4 to 7 in respect of the land comprised in Survey No.269/2, 269/3 measuring an extent of 0.68 Cents situated at Thirumullaivoil, Avadi Taluk, Thiruvallur District. 2/5
3.1. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that 1st respondent had forwarded the petitioner's Appeal to 2nd respondent, pursuant to which, 2nd respondent directed the petitioner to appear for enquiry on 04.10.2024 and produce the relevant documents. 3.2. The learned counsel for the petitioner also submitted that as per the aforesaid direction of 2nd respondent, the petitioner appeared before the 2nd respondent and produced the relevant documents on 04.10.2024. However, thereafter, 2nd respondent has not yet passed any order on the petitioner's Appeal.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that 2nd respondent would dispose of the petitioner's Appeal dated 09.09.2024, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. The above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3 has been fairly conceded by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view thereof, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's Appeal dated 09.09.2024 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice and affording a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, respondents 4 to 7 and all other interested parties including rival claimants, if any, within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of uploading of the web copy of this order without waiting for the receipt of a certified copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
