The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(C) and 4(1)(A) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition (Amendment) Act 2024, in Crime No.219 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of liquor in the bar owned by one Raghu.

3. The Learned Govt. Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent states that the petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with the seizure of two bottles of beer and 25 bottles of brandy from a shop being running as a bar.

4. Considering the nature of the crime, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
