This petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioners in any manner.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, on the guise of enquiry on the complaint made by one Theivanayaki, the estranged wife of the third petitioner, the petitioners have been unnecessarily harassed. He further submitted that the third petitioner had filed a petition for restitution of conjugal rights in HMOP.No.244 of 2021 which is pending before the Principal Subordinate Judge, Kumbakonam, and the matrimonial dispute is given a criminal colour, and the petitioners have been harassed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that one Theivanayaki had lodged a complaint against the petitioners 1 and 2 who are the in-laws and the third petitioner is her husband. They have constantly harassed her on the ground of cruelty. For the purpose of enquiry, the petitioners were called for, which is termed as harassment. He further submits that CSR.No.411 of 2021 is kept in pending waiting for the Social Welfare Officer's report. Once the report is received, appropriate action will be taken. Now, the petitioners are not required for any enquiry.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
