Additional Government Pleader For R2 : Mr.Su.Srinivasan O RDER This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents herein to drop the acquisition proceedings in respect of the lands comprised in Survey Nos.47/4A2 and 47/4C1 measuring an extent of 290 sq.mts.

It was submitted by the learned counsels for respondents by placing reliance on the counter affidavit filed in support of this writ petition that the entire land acquisition proceedings have already been completed. It is further submitted that purpose for which land was acquired has also been executed by laying road. Thereafter, an award came to be passed by the 2nd respondent 29.11.2007.

3. While so, as against the award passed by the 2nd respondent, the petitioner had raised objections seeking enhancement of compensation. Considering the same, enhancement of compensation has also been awarded. Thus, nothing survives for further adjudication and the present writ petition has become infructuous.
