PRAYER:- The Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, pleased to direct the second Respondent police not to harass the petitioner. For Petitioner :

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the second Respondent police not to harass the petitioner.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the petitioner is an accused in Crime No.91 of 2018 and he is absconding and the respondent police are searching for him. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Under such circumstances, once the regular FIR has been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfering with the investigation conducted by the respondent police.
