ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.7 of 2015 pending on her file.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that she has lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 22.8.2015 as against her husband K.Padmanath on the allegation of demand of dowry and the same was registered in Crime No.7 of 2015 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 498(A) and 406 I.P.C. Though the said complaint was registered as early as in August 2015, till date, there is no progress in the said complaint. Hence, the petition.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.7 of 2015 pending on her file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
