This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to condone the delay of 444 days in preferring the criminal revision case against the judgment, dated 22.02.2023 in Crl.A.No.36 of 2020 passed by the learned III Additional Sessions Judge, Vellore @ Tirupathur confirming the judgment of conviction, dated 09.11.2020 in S.T.C.No.50 of 2018 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thirupathur. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in confinement from 19.09.2024 in the Special Prison for Women, Vellore and it is a case of 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. He further submits that at the time of admission of present revision, the petitioner would pay 50% of the cheque amount i.e., Rs.2,00,000/- by way of demand draft.
