ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking a direction to the second respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.171 of 2016.

2. Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has been registered in Crime No.171 of 2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 419(a), 420, 465, 468, 471 of IPC and Section 3(i) https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

(iv)(v)(xv) of SC/ST Act. However, the second respondent has not shown any interest to investigate the matter and lay a final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition for the relief as stated above.

4. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

5. Considering the averments made in the affidavit and also perusing the typed set of papers that the case has been registered on 11.03.2016, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.171 of 2016 and file a final report, as expeditiously as possible.

6. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
