Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to conduct an enquiry expeditiously in respect of the petitioner's application No.3523/2016 dated 14.10.2016 pertaining to the petitioner's land in S.No.183/3&4, situated in Raja Lakshmi Nagar, Nachipalayam Village, Tiruppur District.

Heard Mr.S.Thiruvengadam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Srinivasan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to conduct an enquiry expeditiously in respect of the petitioner's application No.3523/2016 dated 14.10.2016 pertaining to the petitioner's land in S.No.183/3&4, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

situated in Raja Lakshmi Nagar, Nachipalayam Village, Tiruppur District.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that if the appeal is still pending, reasonable time may be granted to the authority to dispose of the appeal.

4.It is seen that the appeal was submitted and received by the office of the first respondent on 14.10.2016 as could be seen from the date seal. Therefore, there can be no reason for keeping the appeal pending if the appeal is otherwise in order. 5.In the light of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of by directing the first respondent to take into consideration the appeal petition dated 14.10.2016 and if the same is in order, issue notice to the petitioner and the third respondent and all other parties who are interested in the matter and pass a speaking order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
