This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent-Police to register the complaint dated 28.03.2016, given by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that on a complaint lodged by the petitioner, petition enquiry was conducted and closed by the respondent-Police on 17.04.2016, on the ground that the petitioner has given a false complaint. It is seen that this petitioner himself is an accused in Crime No.1197 of 2014.
