Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of such a writ, directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 31.07.2019 and 02.08.2019 and to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's complaint.

The limited prayer sought for in the present Writ Petition is for a direction to the respondent police to consider the petitioner's representations dated 31.07.2019 and 02.08.2019. The grievance of the petitioner/complainant seems to be the money purse of the petitioner's grand daughter was stolen by a person aged about 35 years.

The power to investigate such a complaint would be by the concerned jurisdictional Inspector of Police and therefore, it would be appropriate to direct such Police Officer to consider the representations of this petitioner in accordance with law.

In the light of the above observation, there shall be a direction to the third respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representations/complaints by forwarding the same to the appropriate jurisdictional Inspector of Police for the purpose of taking further action. The third respondent herein shall endeavour to forward such complaints as expeditiously as possible, in any event within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
