O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction under Section 482 Cr.P.C to the Inspector of Police, Thudiyalur Police Station, Coimbatore to register a criminal case based on his complaint.

2. Heard both sides.

3. Petitioner purchased a piece of property in Thudiyalur, Coimbatore. One Krishnamoorthy is stated to be in possession of the property. According to the petitioner, he is a trouble maker for him and he is squatting on the property.

4. Naturally, petitioner will be interested in evicting him from the property. In the facts and circumstances, it is a land dispute. Petitioner wants to chuck him out of the property. For such matter, we cannot let loose police. Petitioner can take further necessary action as per law to get possession. We cannot use police to evict persons from the property or take forcible possession. It is too dangerous to arm police to indulge in these kind of activities. Forcing the police to indulge in civil dispute cannot be a ground to invoke inherent jurisdiction of this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. With the above observations, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
