PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd and 4th respondents to issue patta(extract for the town survey land register) based on the petitioners full field patta Transfer(involving sub- division) Application dated 30.10.2023 1/5
in accordance with law in respect of the petitioners House property comprising old survey NO. 28 /9 Part Block - 8, Ward -B Town Survey no. 17, Plot no. 8 measuring 1,505 sqft situated at Udhayam Nagar, Tindivanam town and Taluk Villupuram district within registration district of Tindivanam Sub- registration District of Tindivanam joint-1.

By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondents 3 and 4 to survey and issue patta in his name in respect of the property situated in Old Survey No. 28 /9 Part, Block - 8, Ward -B, Town Survey No.17, Plot No.8 measuring an extent of 1,505 Sq. feet at Udhayam Nagar, Tindivanam Town and Taluk, Villupuram district by considering his application dated 30.10.2023.

3. According to the petitioner, he purchased the above mentioned property under registered sale deed dated 09.02.2004 and submitted an online application on 30.10.2023 seeking patta. The petitioner also submitted the online application on 01.11.2023 seeking survey of the above said land and the same has not been considered till date. Hence, he is before this Court by way of this writ petition.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the online application of the petitioner will be considered on its' own merits within a time fixed by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the online applications of the petitioner dated 30.10.2023 and 01.11.2023 and pass final orders on its' own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
