O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to disburse the Family Pension Benefit of the petitioner's husband, based on the representation dated 31.07.2023. 2.It is the case of the petitioners that one Late G.Vedachalam, who was working in the respondent Bank, retired from service and subsequently, died on 01.05.2013. After the demise of the said G.Vedachalam, the petitioners, being the legal heirs, approached the respondent Bank for the purpose of disbursal of Family Pension Benefits of the deceased. Since the respondent Bank insisted for Succession Certificate, they obtained the same through Court as per Law. It is the grievance of the petitioners that, despite submission of the Succession Certificate as required by the respondent Bank, the Family Pension benefits have not been granted to the petitioners. Hence, they submitted a representation to the respondent Bank in this regard on 31.07.2023. Since the same was also not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 4.Considering the limited nature of relief sought for in the present writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioners, dated 31.07.2023, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
