ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent-Police to complete the further investigation and file a report pursuant to the order made in Crl.M.P.No.4074 of 2023 dated 29.04.2025 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tirukovilur and pass such other or further orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the proper facts and circumstances of this case.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that while filing final report by the respondent-Police in Crime No.23 of 2022, A3 name was deleted and the same was objected by the de-facto complainant. As a result, the defacto complainant filed a protest petition in C.M.P.No.4074 of 2023 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tirukoilur. The learned Magistrate has also taken note of the objections filed by the petitioner, directed the respondent-Police to conduct further investigation and to file a report before the trial Court at the earliest.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-Police submitted the investigation is under progress. At this stage, the petitioner has filed this petition. Further, he submitted that allegation is with 2/4

regard to forgery of document and hence he seeks two months time to complete the investigation and to file a report.

4. Considering submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent-Police to conduct further investigation and file a report within a period of two months.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
