ORDER

The petitioner has obtained a mining lease in his land, and he vide his communication dated 19.01.2022, has requested the first respondent to terminate the lease, and indeed on 12.01.2022, the lease period has also been terminated. He only requires a formal proceedings to be made by the District Collector, Cuddalore, the first respondent, in order he can enjoy his property free of any other hassles.

2. Mr.G.Ameedius, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

3. The first respondent is now directed to issue appropriate proceedings indicating the termination of licence for mining in terms of his representation dated 19.01.2022, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
