ORDER

The petitioners seek Succession Certificate in respect of the debts and securities held by late R.Lakshmi Narasimhan, who died intestate on 02.11.2020. The 1st petitioner is the wife and petitioners 2 and 3 are the minor daughter and son represented by their mother and natural guardian, 1/5

(1st petitioner herein) of the deceased R.Lakshmi Narasimhan.

2. The 1st petitioner has been examined as P.W.1. She has produced the death certificates of the deceased R.Lakshmi Narasimhan, S.Rangarajan (father in-law of the 1st petitioner) and R.Parimala (mother in-law of the 1st petitioner) as Exs.P4, P6 and P7. The legal heirship certificate of the deceased R.Lakshmi Narasimhan, has been marked as Ex.P5. A perusal of Ex.P5 shows that the petitioners are the only surviving Class-I legal heirs of the deceased R.Lakshmi Narasimhan, as the parents of the deceased predeceased him. A paper publication has been made and any objections have not been received.

3.In view of the above evidence, the Original Petition is allowed by granting Succession Certificate in favour of the first petitioner for the grant, in respect of the debts and securities mentioned in the schedule to the petition, considering the fact that the second and third petitioners are minors.
