ORDER

2. Heard Mr.K.Karthik Jagannath, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 6 and Mr.T.Thiyagarajan, learned counsel for respondents 8 and 9.

3. The petitioner seeks directions against respondents 1 to 6 to cancel patta nos.1624 and 1625 in Survey Nos.403/2 and 403/4 and to direct respondents 1 to 6 to initiate fresh land acquisition process to house-less people.

4. If patta is already issued, the same can be assailed as per the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983 (for brevity, "Patta Pass Book Act"). In case the petitioner is aggrieved, then the petitioner may avail the remedy as per the provisions of the Patta Pass Book Act.

5. With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
