This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in STC.No.482 of 2020 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate -II, Ponneri.

2. When the matter is taken up, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition. The learned counsel has also made an endorsement in the Court bundle, today, to that effect.

3. In view of the above submission and endorsement made by the learned

counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, the personal appearance of the petitioner in STC.No.482 of 2020, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate -II, Ponneri, is dispensed with. The Trial Court is directed to complete the trial in STC.No.482 of 2020, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
