O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to issue patta in his favour in respect of the land with an extent of 1200 in Survey No.264/5 and Survey No.264/4A (as per the patta) in Ward - D, Block - 49 situated at Zamin Pallavaram Village, Pallavaram Taluk, Chengalpattu District, by considering his representation dated 24.04.2024.

2. By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he acquired right over the above 2/5

mentioned property vide Sale deed document no. 3265/2000 registered on the file of Sub Registrar, Pallavarm. The petitioner submitted various representations to the second respondent seeking issue of patta based on the sale deed executed in his favour. The last of the representation was submitted before the respondents on 24.04.2024 and the same not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered on its own merits and appropriate orders will be passed.

In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.04.2024 and pass final orders, after issuing notice to all interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
