O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to grant necessary police protection to the petitioner and his property, based on the complaint dated 01.04.2016.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that there is a Rent Control dispute between the petitioner's mother and one Rajan and that the said Rajan did not permit the petitioner to carry out the last rites of his father R.Varadhan, who died on 29.03.2016. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition seeking police protection to him.

3. It is seen that the petitioner has not impleaded the said Rajan as a party / respondent in this petition and therefore, no relief as prayed for by the petitioner can be granted. Hence, this petition is closed.
