Prayer : Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1972 to punish the respondents for wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.27526 of 2022 dated 31.07.2023. For Petitioner : Ms.T.Girija For Respondents : Mr.P.Kumaresan Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.P.Balathandayutham Special Government Pleader for R1 & R3 : Mrs.Sowmi Dattan for R2 COMMON ORDER The contempt petitions have been filed to punish the respondents for their wilful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 31.07.2023 made in W.P.Nos.20204 of 2023 & 27526 of 2022.

It is brought to the notice of this Court that, the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court, while dismissing the writ appeal in W.A.No.234 of 2025, filed against the writ order dated 31.07.2023 made in W.P.No.20204 of 2023, held that it is open to the respondents / appellants to send the petitioner / respondent for training along with the recruitees of 2024 - 25. Learned Additional Advocate General would submit that the

recruitment process for the year 2024 - 25 will be commenced shortly. 4.

In view of the above, no further orders is required in this matter and consequently, both the Contempt Petitions stand closed. 30.06.2025 : yes/no veda To The Principal Secretary, Home Department, St.George Fort, Chennai.
