Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.10.2016 and to grant permission to conduct Kapadi Tournament at Government Panchayat Middle School Ground at Rayappa Nagar, Perambalur Taluk and Perambalur District in any suitable date and also made arrangement for the light, speaker facilities with police aid to secure the ends of justice. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 10.10.2016 and to grant permission to conduct Kapadi Tournament at Government Panchayat Middle School Ground at Rayappa Nagar, Perambalur Taluk and Perambalur District in any suitable date i.e., from 21.10.2016 to 23.10.2016 and also make arrangement for the light, speaker facilities with police aid 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

well as the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

4.Since the representation given by the petitioner seeking permission for conducting Kapadi Tournament from 21.10.2016 to 23.10.2016, was already over, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. However, considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, it is open to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to conduct the Kapadi tournament to the authorities concerned, who in turn, shall consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
