ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to file a final report in Crime No.8 of 2018 on the file of the 2nd respondent within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is also one of the victim affected in the occurrence; despite the complaint has been given in the year 2017, so far, the charge sheet has not been filed. He attracted the attention of this Court to the order of this Court dated 10.02.2022 in Crl.O.P.No.2822 of 2022, wherein, a direction has been given to the second respondent herein to array the petitioner also as a victim during investigation.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that so far his statement was not recorded and he has not been arrayed as a victim. It is learnt that the investigation is still pending. It is obligatory on the part of the second

respondent to comply the direction already given by this Court on 10.02.2022 in Crl.O.P.No.2822 of 2022. Since the matter is long pending, I feel it is appropriate to direct the second respondent police to complete the investigation within a period of four weeks and file the charge sheet, after complying the earlier direction of this Court in Crl.O.P.No.2822 of 2022.

5. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed.
