Respondents Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the 6th respondent and other respondents to speed up the investigation in Crime No.23 of 2016 on the file of the 6th respondent and to complete the investigation in a time frame as against the all accused persons.

ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking a direction to the respondents police to speed up the investigation in Crime No.23 of 2016 on the file of the 6th respondent and to complete the investigation in a time frame as against the all accused persons.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has been registered in Crime No.23 of 2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 427, 324 and 506(ii) of IPC. However, the respondents have not shown any interest to investigate the matter and lay a final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition for the relief as stated above.

3. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the averments made in the affidavit and also perusing the typed set of papers, since the case has been registered on 07.02.2016, the 6th respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.23 of 2016 and file a final report, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
