The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction, directing the respondent police to register a case, based on his complaint dated 24.02.2016 in C.S.R.No.72 of 2016 and to proceed further in accordance with law.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a complaint to the respondent as early on 24.02.2016, but the respondent police had not taken any steps to register a case and hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief.

3. At this juncture, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry has been conducted and the same has been closed on 27.02.2016. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. However, the petitioner is at liberty to workout his remedy in a manner known to law.
