The petitioner herein seeks direction for speedy disposal of C.C.No.100 of 2023, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, 1/4

Kumarapalayam, Namakkal District. The petitioner herein is the 1st accused in the said case.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that the prosecution relied upon eight witnesses. The case is adjourned to 19.09.2024 for examination of LW.5 to LW8 and the witness will be marshaled on that day and closed the prosecution side evidence soon after examining the listed witnesses. He further states that examination of prosecution witnesses will be completed preferably by 30.09.2024.

Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to marshall the witnesses as early as possible and cooperate for the completion of trial.
