This writ petition has been filed challenging the order of the 2nd respondent, dated 25.08.2023, withdrawing the permission given to the petitioner to fill up the 30 vacancies in the non-teaching posts in the petitioner College.
2.Heard Mr.S.R.Rajagopal, learned Senior Counsel, appearing for M/s.G.Selvi George, learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.Mr.V.Jeevagiridharan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3, brought to the notice of this Court that the impugned order itself has been given up by the Government and now, the Government has accorded permission to fill up the 30 vacancies in the non-teaching posts in the petitioner College, with certain conditions. The learned Additional Government Pleader also
produced before this Court the copy of the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.2285/F3/2023, dated 13.09.2023, to that effect. The same is recorded.
4.In such view of the matter, the relief sought for in the writ petition becomes infructuous in view of the subsequent development. Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous, since the impugned order itself is given up in the subsequent proceedings. No costs.
