Prayer: This Original Petition is filed under Section 34(2) of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996, to set aside the Arbitration Award in Arbitration Case No.4 of 2022 dated 04.06.2024 passed by the Learned Sole Arbitrator Shri M.V.Swaroop, to the extent to which it is challenged, in the arbitral proceedings arising out of Arb O.P.No.502 of 2022 on the file of this Court. ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, a memo has been filed on behalf of the petitioner. The cheque drawn on Indian Overseas Bank, Teynampet Branch, Chennai, bearing Cheque No.483161, dated 12.02.2026 for a sum of Rs.30,00,000/- was handed over to the learned counsel for the respondent.

2. In the light of the above settlement arrived at between the parties and the amount having been paid to the respondent, the settlement is recorded and the petition stands disposed of accordingly.

3. In view of the above, the petitioner is permitted for refund of the Court fee, in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs. 13-02-2026 Asi
