O R D E R
This Civil Revision Petition is filed by revision petitioner seeking a direction to the Sub Court, Poonamallee to dispose of the R.C.A.No.17 of 2016 within a time stipulated by this Court.
2. Having regard to the limited prayer made in this revision, this Court is inclined to dispose of the same even without notice to respondent.
3. The petitioner/landlord filed a petition for eviction against the respondent/tenant on the ground of owners occupation. The Rent Controller passed an order of eviction. Aggrieved by the same, the respondent filed an appeal before the Rent Control Appellate Authority in R.C.A.No.17 of 2016 on the file of the Sub Court, Poonamallee. A perusal of the E.Court entry filed in the typed set of papers would suggest that the Rent Control Appeal has been adjourned from time to time from 24.03.2017 onwards. Since there is no substantial progress in the appeal from March 2017, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the Court below to dispose of R.C.A.No.17 of 2016 within a period of the six (6) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of . No costs.
