Heard Ms.V.S.Usharani, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, learned counsel for the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR & CE) Department.
Learned counsel for the HR & CE Department submits that the amount has been deposited in the name of the Trust.
It ought to have been deposited in the name of the Temple.
Learned counsel further submits that an endorsement is made that without the permission of the Court, the amount would not be withdrawn. It is submitted that the HR & CE Department would take steps to change the deposited amount in the name of the Temple.
In the light of that, sufficient safeguard has been provided.
Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of.
