Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the writ petition has actually been filed seeking arrears from the department for which the sanction was granted. However, the respondents have granted pension only with effect from November 2019.
2. This Court is of the opinion that since the Government has come forward to pay the pension to the petitioner, the petitioner should be satisfied with the same and subsequently, no further order is required.
