Respondent Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 27.1.2023 and consequently direct the respondent to remove the Toll Plaza at Navalure and remove all the service roads available in the Chennai Metro working places and also remove the toll plaza structures situated at Perungudi, Thuraipakkam 200 feet Radial Road and at Sholinganalure Junction without further delay.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) Heard Mr.S.Venkatesan, the petitioner, appearing in person; and Mr. Habeeb Rahman, learned Government Advocate for the respondent.
2. Seeking removal of the toll plaza at Navallur, the petitioner sent representation to the respondent authorities on 27.1.2023. As the said representation did not evoke any response, the present writ petition is filed.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the petitioner, appearing in person, submitted that, on the basis of the representation of the petitioner, the collection of toll at the toll plaza in Navallur has been stopped. It is further submitted that the toll
plaza structures are yet to be removed.
4. In view of the submission made by the petitioner, appearing in person, the main grievance relating to collection of toll stands redressed. With regard to removal of the toll plaza structures, the respondent authority shall take necessary steps in accordance with law.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
