ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the first and second respondent to take action on the representation/complaint given by the petitioner on 01.08.2023.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the complaint given by the petitioner is pending before the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Selaiyur in Current paper No.1090 of 2023.

In the light of the above, there shall be a direction to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Selaiyur to deal with the complaint keeping in mind the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalitha Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh reported in 2013 (6) CTC 353. On completion of the enquiry, the respondent Police shall take a decision regarding the further course of action. This process shall be completed by the respondent Police within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

This Criminal Original petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
