This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register the FIR against the accused persons, based on the complaint dated 12.09.2022 given by the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner lodged a complaint against two persons namely Mohan and his son Sankar, who cheated the petitioner's money to the tune of Rs.1,54,90,555/-, but, the respondent police has not taken any action on the complaint given by the petitioner. Hence this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the complaint given by the petitioner dated 12.09.2022 was forwarded by the first respondent to the second respondent police station. He further submitted that the second respondent has taken the matter for enquiry, but the petitioner has not appeared for enquiry on two occasions and hence the complaint was closed on 29.10.2022.
