The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 22.08.2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 506(ii), 307 of IPC @ Section 294(b), 506(ii), 302, 109 of IPC in Crime No.167 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The petitioner is the 2nd accused in Crime No.167 of 2023, since final report had been filed, it is now pending in PRC.No.46 of 2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court - II, Attur. The matter has to be committed. 3.The petitioner appears to be a financier having lent money to the 1st accused. There was a pressure on the 1st accused to return back the money. Due to which, there was a quarrel between the 1st accused and his own deceased mother.

It is stated that on the instigation of the petitioner herein, the 1st accused had hit the mother with his artificial leg, due to which she died. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner had not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he seeks for grant of bail to the petitioner. C.V.KARTHIKEYAN,J.

5.However, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) stated that there are 18 cases relating to finance and lending of loans against the petitioner herein. It is also contended that the petitioner is a Trade Union Leader. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner. 6.Let the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Attur, Salem District, commit the case to the Court of Sessions and let the Sessions Court frame the charges and then further consideration can be given to the petitioner herein.
