This petition is filed to call for the records relating to the final report in C.C.No.22 of 2016 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate-I at Ponneri, Thiruvallur District, and quash the same, as against the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the offences as against the petitioner are not made out and no one has been injured and hospitalised as alleged by the prosecution.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submitted that in the present case trial has already been commenced after charges have been framed against the petitioner and the case is now at part heard stage.

4. Taking into consideration of the stage of proceedings, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ponneri, Thiruvallur District is directed to dispose the proceedings in C.C. No.22/2016 as expeditiously as possible. 2/4
