ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for Police protection to the petitioner's property based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 02.09.2023.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that, based on the complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in C.P.No.803 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police. He further submitted that earlier a Civil Suit is pending between the petitioner and the private respondent and already a case and counter were registered in Crime No.299 of 2023 and Crime No.300 of 2023 on the respondent Police.

3.The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the Police for enquiry and the respondent Police shall conduct the enquiry keeping in mind the judgment in Lalitha Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh reported in 2013 (6) CTC 353. On completion of the enquiry, the respondent Police shall take a decision regarding the further course of action. This process 2/4

shall be completed by the respondent Police within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed off.
