India under Article 21 as well as the dictum of decision held by the Hon'ble Apex Court in case of Ajay Kumar Choudhry Vs.Union of India 2015 (2) Scale 432 and it would put him in irreparable loss and untold hardship. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
The instant writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner in service, who was under prolonged suspension for more than 2 years issued by the 3rd respondent in proceedings bearing Se.Mu.Na.Ka.No.04/2022/A-4/CV dated 27.10.2022. Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was under prolonged suspension since 23.10.2022. It is further submitted that, the departmental enquiry was conducted and on completion of due proceedings, the Enquiry Officer has also submitted his report and in pursuance thereof, the petitioner has also given his explanation and in spite of the same, the respondents did not pass final order, so far. 4.
At this juncture, the learned standing Counsel appearing for the
respondents would submit that they will pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings within a reasonable time.

In view of the above submission made by the learned standing Counsel, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
