The grievance of the petitioner is that though the inquest report has been completed, the investigation has not proceeded in the right direction since the accused have been implicated for the offences under Section 306 of IPC alone.

2.In my view such a reasoning could not be appropriate for transfer of investigation. Nevertheless, if the investigation which has been conducted by the second respondent is directed to be monitored by a superior officer, the ends of justice would be secured. 3.In the light of the above observation, the second respondent herein is called upon to enquire the investigation and complete the same within a stipulated time. Such a proceedings shall be monitored by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, having the jurisdiction over the second respondent on a day to day basis.
4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with the above directions.
