Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent, i.e., the Chairman, Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board to grant 1 additional special mark on the basis of the NCC 'Ç' Certificate of the Petitioner and consequently allow the Petitioner to attend the requisite training programs for the post and consequently extend all benefits arising thereto.

Heard Mr. K.Chandrasekaran, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. P.Kumaresan, Learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Ms. D.Sowmi Dattan, Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Respondent to grant 1 additional special mark for the NCC 'Ç' Certificate of the Petitioner and consequently allow the Petitioner to attend the requisite training programs for the post and extend all benefits arising therefrom. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the Respondent, on instructions, states that by Order in C. No. D2/1352/2019 dated 16.05.2019 passed by the Respondent, the Petitioner has been provisionally selected for the post of Firemen on production of NCC Certificate and its copy has been placed on record. In view of the subsequent events after the filing of the Writ Petition, nothing remains for further consideration in the matter, but if the Petitioner still has any other grievance to be redressed, he is not precluded from working out his rights before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law.

In fine, the Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid observations. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
