Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2022 and direct the respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate action against the 6th and 7th respondents pertaining to Survey No.57/1, Putthur Village, Yercaud Taluk, Salem District.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2022 and direct the respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate action against the respondents 6 and 7 pertaining to Survey No.57/1, Putthur Village, Yercaud Taluk, Salem District.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the subject property is Temple property, however, the private respondents obtained patta in 2/5

their favour and hence the petitioner made representation dated 19.08.2022 to the respondents seeking to take appropriate action against the private respondents and since the same has not yet been considered, has filed this writ petition.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2022 and to pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time frame. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that Elaiyaramar Temple is situated in S.No.58 and in the Village A Register it has been mentioned that 'Temple land Elaiyaramar Temple is there two huts are there' in the said land and the said land is Government Poromboke land. The land in S.No.57/1 stands in the name of Maniyagounder and the land in S.No.57/2 stands in the name of Ramasamy and they are patta lands.

5.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition stands disposed of with liberty 3/5

to the petitioner to work out the remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
