ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to register/lodge the FIR based on the CSR No.765 of

2022, dated 24.08.2022 against the accused and conduct the proper investigation in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on the complaint given by him against one V.Vijayalakshmi on the allegation that the accused along with other accused cheated the petitioner and mislead him to enter into an agreement of sale of the property bearing Plot No.74 and 75, Ram Nagar North, Narayanapuram and thereby received an advance of Rs.30 lakhs. It is the grievance of the petitioner that despite she produced all materials, the 2nd respondent Police did not register the case and keep the enquiry pending.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that on the complaint given by the petitioner herein, the preliminary enquiry is being conducted in C.S.R.No.765 of 2022.

5. Since the complaint has been given as early as in the month of August 2022, the respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry in C.S.R.No.765 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible and inform it to the petitioner within a period of four weeks.

6. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed with a direction to the respondent police to complete the enquiry in C.S.R.No.765 of 2022 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
