ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the 2nd respondent to expeditiously dispose of the representation dated 13.04.2023, made by the petitioner within the time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had made a representation dated 12.04.2023 in Na.Ka. No.1948/A3/2023 for the cancellation of forged partition deed vide Doc. No.734/1996, on the file of the Avarapakkam Sub-Registrar Office, Tindivanam but, the same was not considered. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner is aged 89 years and the private respondents viz., R3 to R5 are none other than the children of the petitioner and that the matter is pending with the 2nd respondent from 13.04.2023.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

4. In the light of the limited scope of prayer sought for in this writ petition and the submissions of the learned counsel on either side, this Court 2/5

without going into the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.04.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties without any further delay, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and file a compliance report before this Court. It is made clear that no extension of time will be entertained and if any deviation is found, the officer concerned will have to face the consequences.

5. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
