Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue posting orders to the petitioner to the post of P.G.Assistant (Chemistry), based on the selection conducted by the 2nd respondent as per Notification No.01/2021 dated 09.09.2021 and as per Selection List published on 11.10.2022 by allowing the petitioner to participate in the counselling for posting based on merit in selection, in consideration of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated on 11.10.2022 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 1/5

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the 1st respondent to call the petitioner for counselling for the post of Physical Education Director Grade-I.

2. Heard Mr.G.Sankaran, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.C.Sathish, learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent and Mr.R.Neelakandan, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent.

3. Learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the second respondent has placed before this Court the proceedings dated 14.10.2022 issued by the Teachers Recruitment Board, under which, the petitioner has 2/5

been selected pursuant to the equivalent G.O. submitted by him. Therefore, the relief sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition has been achieved as he has been selected to the subject posts.

4. After recording the proceedings of the Teachers Recruitment Board dated 14.10.2022, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to issue appointment orders in favour of the petitioner accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
