Respondent Prayer:-Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to pass orders for revision of seniority of the petitioner in the post of Assistant and Superintendent with effect from 08.06.1994 and 01.06.2011 respectively and consequential promotion to the post of Personal Assistant to Conservator of Forest on per with her juniors with effect from 01.03.2019 with consequential and other attendant benefits, based on the common seniority to Category 17 of Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service Rules and Category 17 of Typist and StenoTypist as per clarificatory order issued by the Government in Letter No.42667/B/2019-1, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department dated 12.08.2020 in consideration of representation submitted by the petitioner dated 28.12.2021 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

Pleader O RDER Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since Government is a necessary party, the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to file a fresh writ petition by making the Government as one of the respondents. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the court bundle.

After recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and also in view of the endorsement made by him, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, however, liberty is granted as prayed for.
