Mr.R.Sasikumar, learned Government Advocate takes notice on 1/4

behalf of the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.05.2025 and transfer her to any one of the Prisons in Puzhal complex.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is differently abled person and having 60% permanent disability in the right leg and she find difficulty in walking and climbing stairs as there is no facility provided for differently abled persons. The learned counsel would further submit that the present posting at Tiruchirappalli would deprive her from getting assistance from her family. Hence she sent representation to transfer her from Tiruchirappalli to Chennai vide representation dated 21.05.2025 and such representation is pending with the respondents. 4.At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate would submit that the respondents would consider the petitioner's representation, according to its own merits and in accordance with law, 2/4

within a reasonable time.

5.In such view of the submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.05.2025 upon its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
